I'm 17 years old, and I have had hemoroids for nearly 3 years now. I rarely experience any symptoms besides on rare occasions, minimal bleeding. I have noticed that the hemroid has increased in size over these years.. and from what I've been reading it seems like they are prolapsed hemroids which protrude out (can't be pushed back in unlike before). Is it necessary for me to get surgery ASAP? I would like to get rid of them, but is surgery the only option? I don't seem to be having any problems but are there any health risks involved with hemroids? Thanks in advance for your help.
