Here lately I have been really nauseated, been trowing up, sore breast, fuller breast, sensitive to smells, moody, and really bad back ache. I was supposed to start my period tomorrow but have been bleeding for 6 days now. When I'm sleeping I do not bleed but when I'm awake and active I do. I go through about 2 pads a day. I'm just confused I have never stopped bleeding when I'm sleeping or laying and I have been having my period since I was 9 and I'm 20. Please help!

Yes, it sounds like your period. I think there's nothing to worry about. Well, if you are sleeping or lying down the blood and tissue will accumulate inside you without flowing out. The simple reason to this is the horizontal position and calmness of your body. So when you hop out of bet your period starts flowing down again due to gravity. As for the symptoms you've described, it looks like normal PMS symptoms to me. I always feel nauseated, my breasts are sore, I'm sensitive, moody, I also have back ache, I eat a lot...I normally bleed for six days. A normal period lasts from 3-7 days, but if you bleed any longer you should see your gynecologist. You only lose 3 tablespoons of blood each period. Since menstrual fluid is more than blood, it is also made up of tissue and mucus from the endometrium, the average amount of fluid lost is 6-9 tablespoons. So you lose more fluid than blood. I hope this will help you.
