Itching problem all over my body.

Dear Van I just did a WHOLE bunch of research for you and EVERYTHING came up with an alergic reaction to an insect bite or sting!!! Also when you mention raining I 1st thought of bed bugs infestation. So I really think you might have a bed bug bite that is making you have this reaction. With your WHOLE body being involved you need to get some medical help right away OK? Some reactions can be life threatening. So get to a doctor and tell them about this site, take a look at this link and let them know what it says and your symtpoms OK

I had itching problems 24 hours a day.  Bluish rash developed and dermatologist tested me for all kinds of allergies.  All were negative.

Internal Medicine doctor sent me to a Rheumatologist who ran all kinds of tests.  Bottom line I have Dermatomyositis.  I had never

heard of that ?  I have been under treatment for four years now.  I was started on low dose of Prednisone increased gradually to 60 mg.

a day.  Later added Methotrexate 4 tablets once a week.  Myositis is little known and is inflamation of the muscles.  A special blood test

is needed to detect this disease.  If not taken care of muscle weakness will occur in time.  I fell four times total.  But,  now I feel strong

follow my doctor's orders and I'm on low dose Prednisone now, hoping to be off it completely this year.  I was lucky to have a good

caring doctor.
