I am a relatively new runner and I have been running for about two months. Lately I run 3-5 miles at a time outdoors in a hilly neighborhood. The past few days, I have had an annoying pain in the jooint of my big toe that hurts when I walk as well. I have been running anyway because I figured it would go away. Anyway, it didn't. It has not gotten any worse or any better. It has been hurting for three days. I have tried to search the internet for some ideas, but all of the results suggested something kind of serious. Like gout or bone spurs. I haven't jammed or stubbed it, or injured it in any other obvious way. Right now I am unsure whether to take it easy for a while, and it if does not get better, I will see adoctor. Or should I see a doctor immediately? Any suggestions or ideas of what the problem is would be greatly appreciated.

I guess that is a kind of injury what i have observed you should take it easily buddy.
Apply a little warm olive oil for a few days and massage with it that can help you in that.
Also don't wear shoes for a while try slippers or sandals.
