Hi,

My child (1.5 years old, Male) has Knee (Right, Single joint) Swelling. First the Doctors have suspected Tuberculosis and Montaux test(Result is - Ve) and Synovial Biopsy (Result is -ve for Tuberculosis) is done. ANA Test gave Positive Result but the Details Report shows negative, the tests are mentioned below.

ANTIBODY TO AMA-M2 - NEGATIVE
ANTIBODY TO PM-Scl - NEGATIVE
ANTIBODY TO Ro-52 - NEGATIVE

and PLATELET COUNT(Automated blood cell count) is 754000 /Cmm


The Doctor has confirmed the disease as Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and adviced to take Methatroxate (7.5 mg tablet weekly once). Please advice whether this is the correct treatment?

It would be unwise of me to instruct you on if your child shouldn't take that medication. However, if you'd like to try something different, you could take your child to see a homeopath or naturopath to get treated naturally. Arthritis is generally caused by candida, heavy metal toxicity, parasites or viruses. A homeopath or naturopath would help to safely cleanse your child of those things.

However, I'm not saying that this would be a be-all and end-all to his arthritis. It's just advice on if you want something natural.
