I am so frustrated right now! I am a 27yo F and my husband and I have not been using any form of BC for 2.5 years. So far, no pregnancy. I was supposed to start my period on Nov 8. However, on Nov 2 I started spotting light pink (very light) which continued until Nov 6 then it was a moderate amount of blackish type junk just for an hour (sorry to be so blunt!!) since then I am spotting very light reddish spots - enough just to wear a pantyliner. I took a HPT a few days ago during late afternoon and it was a big negative. I am so tired of taking pregnancy tests just for them to become negative... I'm not really sure what I want any of you to say to me. I guess I am just so tired of ttc and tired of talking to nurses that tell me absolutely nothing and now this crazy period - if that is what you want to call it. I have to be 'happy all of the time' because of my job, which I guess is a good thing, but it gets so hard when everyone i know seems to be pregnant, or just had a baby! Every other day it's "so, are you pregnant yet?" Then its even worse when it is your inlaws staying on your case about 'giving us a grandchild' every single time i see them. Like I said before, I am not sure what I want any of you to say to me except if any of you have had an issue of crazy 'periods' like this I would appreciate knowing the outcome for you. Sorry for the long post, I guess I just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

2.5 years is a long time to be trying, I think it would be wise to visit the doctor and start investigating why nothing is happening. good luck

Hi, did you use a sensitive HPT? I'd try another in a day or two just in case and use first morning urine, just to be really sure.

Have you had a fertility workup? Blood work for you on days 3 and 21, testing LH, estrogen, progesterone, thyroid... Maybe even an HSG to see if your tubes are clear. A sperm analysis for him; he gets the easiest test. ;-)
You really should get these done if you haven't.

Good luck, I hope things work out for you.
