I have knee pain for weeks. It is mild but constant. I don’t know why or how it started. I was hoping it will pass with time, but it isn’t. Should I see a doctor about it? When is time to ask for professional help whit knee pain?

You should see a doctor if you can't bear weight on your knee or have swelling or see an obvious deformity in your leg or knee. Try treating it yourself first with resting, icing and elevating the affected knee. Perhaps you can try with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs to reduce pain and inflammation. If you don't notice any improvement in seven days, see your doctor.
