A week ago, suddenly, I experienced pain in my upper left ram. I feel only when I use my arm or lift, I have no other symptoms, but last night it was severe so I had to take some pain killer to fall a sleep. What could be the cause of this pain?

I suspect you have tendonitis of one of the rotor cuff muscles, even though it is hard to tell like this. The shoulder is peculiar in that inflammation of the tendons occurs with normal use of the joint, because elevating the shoulder will press the tendons of the shoulder into the bones of the shoulder. Consequently, any activity that raises the shoulder will inflame these tendons, so I suggest you avoiding elevating the shoulder and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory.
