Hello everyone...

... I'm a little embarrassed, but i am looking for some advice... For a number of months i have had a 'spot' on my left side of my scrotum, deep under the skin, it weeps sometimes and sometimes i am able to drain fluid from it by squeezing it. The stuff that comes out varies from a purplish puss like fluid to a clear water like substance. I've had a spot there before in my early 20's, but once it burst it would heal and disappear, now i am 35 and this one refuses to go - its been 6months now... and i am now getting a bit worried about it. It doesn't hurt, except for a little pain whilst im trying to drain it and its a little sore afterward.

I live in SEA, so i have been able to self prescribe antibiotics which seemed to work and reduced it down to the size of a pea and stopped it weaping, but once i stopped the tablets it grew again. I guess now its the size of medium grape. I live in a very hot and humid country, and this spot is not in a great area to keep cool and dry ;-) Its easy for wounds/spots to get mild infections here.

I'm reasonable certain its just a spot, but i do have the underlying fear that its something more sinister. Before i go to see a doctor, i like to check out online to get a better understanding of what it could be...

Anyone have any suggestions?
