I was training my shoulders at the gym about 5 days ago and the day after I woke up with a slight pain about 4 inches under my armpit. It didnt bother much at the time but has become worse over the past couple days. I havnt been to the gym since as to rest up, but now if I move a certain way or the muscle is flexed it feels like a hot knife slicing that area, about three inches across, stinging burning sensation. I'm applying hot compress 3-4 times a day with Advil 3-4 times a day. Please help.

Latissimus Dorsi Stretch
Raise right arm above and behind head as shown.
Hold elbow with left arm.
Pull arm gently as you bend your trunk to the left, until a stretch is felt.
Hold for 10-15 seconds.
Repeat for other side.
Repeat cycle three times, at least three times daily.
