I had haemorrhoidectomy 6 weeks ago. I have been doing sitz baths and taking some pain killers. My greatest worry now is, I'm leaking some pus/mucus and I have been putting some gauze in between mu buttocks to manage the mess. No the gauze are causing some itchy rush. Everytime I visit my doctor for a routine checkup, he tells me that everything is fine. Sometimes I feel a lot of pain. When I touch the area where there used to be haemorrhoids, I feel some lumps. Is it normal? My late mother had a problem with haemorrhoids and doctors spent a long time trying to fix the problem, only to discover when it was too late that she had cancer and it had already spread to other parts. I wouldn't want to go through the same. Is what I'm feeling normal or something had gone wrong? Please help
