Im 15 years old and is sexually active it had been a while since before the last time i had sex before this time and wen i used da bathroom i had light green discharge in my underwear at first it was off white den light yellow n now light green n my partner had a check up 2 days before we had sex so i knew it couldnt be a STD n then i thought it was a yeast infection bt the clinc wasnt taking any more new people so 2 days later i came on my period and i want to knw is this common or do i have an infection.

If you used a condom or spermicidal lube, it is possible you're having a reaction from that. Spermicidal lubricants that are found on most condoms can upset the ph balance in your vagina and can cause some irregular discharge. However, if you did not use a condom you should try to get an appointment at your closest clinic. or call planned parenthood and tell them you need to get a pap smear, pelvic exam, and STD check. I don't want to scare you, but I'm extremely concerned with your sexual partner's story. Did he receive his results 2 days before sex or go in for the check up 2 days before sex? It generally takes at least 1-2 weeks to get your std results back from a lab and even if they come back negative it is ABSOLUTELY necessary for you to use a condom EVERY time. There are some STD's that wont show up on a test unless you have had them for a while. Also, not every clinic checks for EVERY STD because of government budget restrictions. You usually have to pay and extra $20 here or there for FULL STD testing. Even if the wait for planned parenthood is more than a month, it is worth it for you to go in because you may be experiencing symptoms from an STD or could have other reproductive health issues. A yeast infection is almost always white in color, and thick/lumpy (think along the lines of cottage cheese) in texture. I know going for an appointment like this can be scary, but just remember to give the doctor as much information as possible. They do this every day so they are used to hearing all kinds of things and the more info they have the easier it will be for them to help you... Now go make and make an appointment and be sure to use condoms if you continue having sex.

Green vaginal discharge is bad news :(. It usually indicates an infection and, in most cases, a sexually transmitted one.
I'd advise you to see a doctor as soon as you can, for testing, diagnosis, and then treatment. In the meantime, please refrain from having sex, which is the safest thing you can do, but if you do have sex, most definitely use a condom. You could spread the infection to someone else if you don't.
Make sure you get tested for trich, gonorrhea, and chlamydia, which are most likely to cause green vaginal discharge.
