I am a 20 year old Female.
In the past month I had unprotected sex with a new partner. He says he has no STDs or infections, though I know it is common there are no symptoms for some STDs. Shortly after having sex with him I experienced a green mucus-like discharge, followed by a yellow discharge to a clear discharge. The discharge now, after my last period, is clear with some small (for lack of better words) hard booger-like pieces. I think I may have a yeast infection, but the green discharge turned yellow worried me. I have not experienced similar symptoms since. Also, the green to yellow discharge happened within a weeks time before turning a clear, sometimes milky consistency. Should I be worried?
I spoke with friends and my mother who all say this could be normal- my body encountered a new partner (which it hasn't for 2 years) and was possibly just cleaning itself out. I have no other signs of STD's (pain, pain while urinating, etc.). I have a gyno appointment for next week, but wanted another opinion first. Thank you so much!

it may be trich... does anyone have information on this or has anyone ever had it before? is it possible that trich can have symptoms for a certain amount of time then for them to disappear even though your body is still infected?
