there are rumors going around about the implenon, the little rod that goes in your arm that it causes infertilization. I want kids here in the near future and that is like my worst fear. So... I am having it removed. But I was wanting to know if any of you other ladys out there have heard the same.
Also I am having a very light odorless green discharge it will only appear for a little while during the day and then go away and then I will have a brown discharge. I have not seen my ob gyn and plan on it very soon.
I also have bad gas :$. I am still on the implenon which is making me gain weight as well.

Green vaginal discharge sounds a little strange so please see your obgyn as soon as possible. The best I can think of at this point is that it could be a yeast infection but I'm not sure if green discharge is a common side effect. In any case, please keep us posted as to what your doctor says. Also, I'm sorry, I don't know anything about the implenon causing infertilization. Does anyone else know about this?

Interesting... hormonal contraceptives change the nature of your vaginal discharge without question. Green vaginal discharge, however, is typically related to an infection. Bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, chlamydia, pelvic inflammatory disease... things like that can be to blame.
If in doubt, the answer's always the same: see a doctor. You're right to be concerned about the green discharge, especially if it's followed by brown discharge which indicates old blood. Get to a doctor and get that tested so you know what's going on. If you do have a bacterial infection, antibiotics should clear that right up. Just don't let it go on for too long.

Vaginal discharge should be clear to a cloudy cream colour, the fact that yours is pale green could be a sign of an internal infection. I also have Implanon and have experienced a large amount of weight gain, i used duromine 40 mg to help loose the extra weight. Because it effects your hormones its hard to lose any weight caused by the implanon naturally.[/url]
