Have been with my boyfriend for 1yr, 3months. and since the second month of us being together I have had bv, and sometimes yeast to go along with it, have been to the doctor I dont know how many times now, have taken everything they have to offer-pills after pills and or gels... My boyfriend has even taken the flagyl-two sets.

Now my doctor has me doing both meds once a week for up to 6months. (both meds being, metrogel for bv and diflucan for yeast) Which means i'm living with it, the once a week just keeps it at bay-not gone but not out of control. Have also tried ALL home remedies..

I'm wondering if anyone out there stopped having sex with their partner for a long period of time?

I cant help but wonder if I break up with him, will it finally go away.

I dont think it'll go away if you stop having sex. Like when you have cold and you go for ice creams, your cold can get worse. but if you dont, doesnt mean your cold will go away.
