I have been taking soma for 4 years now after getting into a car accident. A couple of my back disks were messed up and developed this muscle-related effect from it (I don’t really understand that much medical language, sorry!). I experience back pain and when this happens, soma does the trick. I'm wondering, though, if soma has long-term negative effects to the body? Thanks.

As far as I know, there are not any real long-term studies done on soma but as far as I know there aren't any that I know of. Everything does have some sort of toll it takes after awhile though so just bear that in mind, okay? Be vigilant and discontinue use if you start to feel worse or something different, okay?

I forgot to mention that cranberry extract should be just about the same as cranberry juice so you should be totally fine--but you can ask your doctor about it as well. Had you considered that?
