suboxone for years /long term effects

i was on OxyContin for about 6 years and now have been taking suboxone for about 5 years. I'm taking anywhere from 1/2mg to 1mg once daily. I have many lingering aches and pains from lots of different injuries through the years, and taking this small amount of suboxone really does help. I do plan on weening completely off o it, but honestly haven't had a chance to take a week or so off work to do it. I don't feel like there is a huge threat of me trying to get high anymore, because I easily could with my suboxone if I took more than I do,.... but I don't. The dose I take helps so much with pain and general motivation, that I could see using it forever in this small dose, (even as little as .25mg per day). My concern, or question, is: What are the long term effects of Suboxone use? I have had certain body issues that are to be expected such as difficulty in urination and constipation here and there, but I'm worried about more serious issues that might be documented from long term use. Does anyone know an answer to this? (btw, I'm still waiting for a weeks when I can take work off and detox and go to say, Advil instead, but the suboxone in the dose I'm taking has worked well if not perfectly for my ills. with the expected side-effects, of course).
