I'm 17 years old, but have been smoking cannabis for about 2.5 - 3 Years. However for the majority only really dabbled in it, but for the past 10-12 months i've been smoking heavily, going through phases of smoking it several times a day for some weeks, then other phases of only 1-3 times a week, I'm not starting to feel severe headaches at times when i smoke it, could this be a direct cause? Or is this an unlikely coincidence? I'd also like what other long term effects i could be at risk of?

There are 2 trains of thought about MJ and being addicted to it! As a recovering addict - of pain killers - I can honestly say that I DO believe that MJ is addictive! I know that some will argue with me on it! BUT How can it NOT be? It changes your mood, and your brain cells! Just like opiates etc. - of course not as strong - BUT when you smoke SO much you are bound to affect your chemical balance! Can I ask why you smoke so much? I know that sounds like a silly question, but do you smoke to forget, to get high, can't stop, for pain etc.
