My husband is 53. He works in construction. Very strong and healthy. Today he said that he felt sort of light headed or dizzy. Now I notice that his equalibrium is off and he has to hold on to things to sit down. He said that he doesn't feel sick just off balance. What could have caused this?

This could be caused by an inner ear infection. Simple medications can often be prescribed to correct the problem. Please conntact your doctor to determine the actual source of the problem.

The type of job your husband has is not a good place to be with an inner ear infection.
It does throw off your balance and it feels like your falling. It reminds me of having to much to drink.
He should see a Doctor ASAP. And he should probably not be on such a dangerous job until he is feeling 100% back to normal.
