Hey, im 19 and had sex with my boyfriend for the first time and my period is really late. im starting to worry. i know im not pregnant because i already took 2 test and both were negative,,,thank god. but what else could it be? should i go to my gyno? or possibly wait to see if i just missed one and wait for the next? please get back to me asap. thank you so much!

just how late are you? Use a first response test- studies show they are the most accurate when it comes to early testing...Some of the other tests claim that they work 1st day of missed period but they can take up to another week to show positive (depending on your hormone levels and what level they test for) You COULD just be late- most likely stress just haulting your start- I have convinced myself I was pregnant many times and it would make my usual clockwork cycle up to 2 weeks late when I was younger- I wouldn't waste money on a doc just yet unless its really bugging you...you could skip a cycle all together (like you said)- that is not unheard of.
