I have a lump in my arm pit and for two nights in a row, I had a horrible rash with hives all over my body and in the past month I lost 30 pounds. I went to urgent care and all they said was that there was an abnormal calcium level in my blood after doing tests. Everything else seemed fine and she told me I should go see a regular doctor rather than an urgent care one. Should I be concerned. Please help, thanks.

Hi Azcvlc,
Yes, you should be VERY concerned. Losing 30 pounds in a month is NOT healthy. This is not something for "urgent" care, you need tests from a regular doctor. The lump in the arm pit could be a swollen lymph node indicating an infection.
You NEED to see a doctor NOW. I can't stress this enough. You aren't really indicating many symtoms to narrow it down but it could include leukemia, HIV, AIDS, or cancer. The hives could also be due to exposure to an allergen.
Good luck. Please keep us posted.
