I am so glad I found this forum! Because there is something else I found today - a hard lump on my metatarsal. I am hoping someone here can help me figure out if this is dangerous? I can remember being injured in any way, to it is not that. What can this lump be? Anyone else with the same experience?

If there was no trauma to the metatarsal, you really need to go and see a doctor as this may well be a tumour, benign or otherwise. You will not know unless you get yourself checked out, and you don't want to be walking around with a tumour. I don't want to scare you, but the sooner you get it diagnosed the better it is for you.
