I noticed a soft and small lump the side of my trachea. It is not painful in any way, but I have heard that this can be very serious, and I am starting to panic about it. Is there a reason that I should go to the doctor straight away? Can anyone tell me more about trachea lumps please?

Most likely, it is some kind of sac, which can be filled with pus or some other substance. In fact, you have only one percent chance that a lump on your trachea is cancer. However, you should certainly seek medical assistance to rule this out, and to put your mind at ease. Also, fluid filled sacs can be drained. Good luck!
