Missed a few birth control pills during my ovulation time and had sex....

So I decided to go on birth control July 2012, and I am horrible remembering to take it on time, or even worst I'll skip 2 days and then catch up by taking 2 at a time, but I've been lucky not to get pregnant. I skipped 2 days again and had unprotected sex during one those two days, then again I caught up by taking the missed pills. This all occurred during the time period I was ovulating. I've had a pretty bad experience with Loestrin so I decided to just stop taking it and have protected sex until then, and I also wanted to see if my period would come to make sure I wasn't pregnant. A day after my cycle was due I has some brownish light spotting for 2 days, but no actual period. Ive been feeling light headed and i am having a lot of cramping but no period. Could I be pregnant or thus happening because I'm no longer on birth control?
