I was supposed to start my period on August 16. My last period began on July 19 after being 2 days late (which is normal for me because i'm either 2 days early or 2 days late). It was painful as usual but not as heavy. It lasted until the 23rd. I usually have very heavy and painful periods...The 1st day they start I am in so much pain I vomit and stay in bed all day.
About 1 1/2 weeks before I had burning pain right under my breasts accompanied by painful bowel movements. I figured it was just something I ate. This lasted for days up until August 14th. On August 14th, I had a sharp pain in my right side followed by brown discharge. The next day I had clear discharge with a tinge of blood. Not much blood, but maybe a streak whenever I wiped.
I've had some cramps but my period still has not shown up.
I am a virgin so pregnancy is out of the question. I also do not take birth control.
I've had a lot of clear discharge up until a few days ago when I noticed some white. Today I notice it is now clear with a yellow tint. No smell, so I'm guessing I don't have an infection. I am nauseous and don't feel hungry so I haven't been able to eat much. I have had horrible headaches (but I've had headaches all of my life). No breast tenderness or acne which is usually accompanied by my PMS (which is nonexistant atm).
I started taking B12 in July (1500 mcg a day). I have cut down on the amount I've taken since I have missed my period thinking that it was the cause, some days I don't take any at all. I started taking these for energy and matabolism. I can't find any suggestions if B12 causes late/missed periods.
I also started taking vitamin c a week ago because someone said that it could bring a period on. (Anywhere from 1500 to 2000 mcg a day) Still, no period.
I stopped eating red meat in March of this year. I still eat chicken and fish.
Any advice is welcome. I'm kind of freaking out because I currently do not have health insurance. I don't know who to go to for advice. I've read a lot about missing one or two periods is normal, although for the 7 or 8 years I have been getting a period, I have never missed one. They are only late.
Thanks in advance!
