Mother was diagnosed with NPH two shunts but refused any follow. Years later I thought she had  dementia from her age now I know it was caused from the NPH. NPH is a type of  dementia , shunt just slow progression down. No cure or medications. My mother was a victim by her  court appointed guardian he made her sign the will leading everything to him and then he isolated her and locked her up. My mother died all alone. Had I known she had NPH and what it was I might of win  guardianship . My poor mother suffered
