My grandmother was just diagnosed with multiple meyloma. She had a problem with a fractured vertabre few months ago and she then had 2 more fractures after this. She is in pain, just lying in bed, can hardly eat or walk. Are there any multiple meyloma treatment options for her?

There are many treatments for multiple myeloma, those very aggressive treatment regimens, as well as some that are easier on the body. However, chances for recovery depends how well she responds to treatment. My good friend has Myeloma. She is only 31. She moved about 4 yrs ago and not long after that she would always come down with some flu or chest infection that just wouldn't go or would turn into pheumonia. But recently she has had problems with her kidneys which is what led to getting the biopsy done recently which is what resulted in her finding out she has multiple myeloma.
