My boyfriend is really confusing me when it comes to having a baby! He says were not ready, but he has consented to unprotected sex for the past two months. We have been monogamous for almost 3 years now, living together for 2 and I have been on the pill so we have never used condoms. Two months ago I decided to come off the pill (I was on it for 5 years). Sometimes he says he would be excited if I got pregnant, but most of the time he says we aren't ready/ he don't want to. I am 21 and he is 23 and we both have extremely good jobs with high salaries, so we definately wouldn't have any financial issues. We do travel quite a bit, but we don't go out or party much at all. Any ideas on why hes acting so strange? Any suggestions as to how I can warm him up to the idea? I know it will happen eventually if this keeps up, but I don't want him to resent the pregnancy or me.

Well thats exactly what is going to happen of the two of you dont sit down and talk about this properly. In the meantime do you think its responsible to continue having unprotected sex? if the two of you dont get your thoughts and feelings straightened out and make a decision you could find your self alone and pg at 21, or worse still in a relationship, pg and being resented at 21.

if there is any uncertainty at all, he is not ready to have a child. and the unprotected sex? show me a single guy that will wear a condom if his girlfriend is NOT worried about getting pregnant. just one. anyone?
