My period started 5 days late and I had lower back pain the whole time I was waiting, took a blood test 3 days before it started and was negative so I figured I most have ovulated late. My period was pretty heavy but not as heavy as normal, usually at night the first few nights I bleed through a tampon and an overnight pad and leak everywhere by halfway through the night and even again by morning after cleaning up in the middle of the night. Did not bleed to that extent at all this period for the first time in years. Now 6 days after starting my period ( normally last about 4, 5 days too) I'm still seeing pink when I wipe after peeing and experiencing lower back pain that is worse than it was while I was menstruating but it's not horrible pain. No bleeding other than when I pee and then wipe. Is this just a weird period or could I be pregnant? I dont think i was experiencing implantation bleeding, seemed to heavy for that but who knows? Don't want to send the hubby out for a test right now as I feel I could just be paranoid. Also, not on birth control right now. Opinions?
