Hey guys, the title is pretty self-explanatory, but here are the deets:

So for starters, I'm 18, and I just had sex for the first time in my life today.

He's a nice guy and everything, and I had him put on a condom.

The condom started slipping off, and he before he grabbed a new one he asked me when the last time I had my period was. I haven't had my period since last month, and I normally get it either right at the beginning of every month or right at the end of every month.

So I told him I got it a few weeks back last month, and he said that was good. He was dying to keep the condom off, just for 10 seconds; I was pretty clear about my concern about unprotected sex with him, but apparently the fact that it had been a while since my last cycle was a good sign and made it a little safer than usual.

He's smart, and I trust that he knows what he's talking about a lot of the time so I'm not trying to portray him as some sort of pleading scumbag. But during those 10 seconds I knew the precum wasn't exactly a safe thing because sometimes it can carry old sperm, correct? But the last time he ejaculated was 3 days ago, so I can assume that the Urethra cleared by now?

Well, anyway, we did use a condom again and after it was all said and done I came home. It was about an hour afterwards, I was about to shower when I realized I just started my period today. Within the same hour I had sex.

Now this is the thing that freaks me out the most.

The fact that I started my period right after having sex... does that mean that I have a higher chance of pregnancy/fertility, or is it the other way around?

I'm not getting too paranoid just yet, but if anyone knows anything please let me know.

I'd love to hear some thoughts on this.

Thanks (:
