Hi Doris: The nausea should pass soon, I am sure that after your surgery you were given a list of items to eat and NOT eat. Really try to follow that, and keep away from greasy foods or heavy processed foods. Eat small, fresh and often!!! Now IF there is pain, or yellowing of the skin, you need to see a specialist IMMEDIATELY!!! But your symptoms right now are totally normal. I've always thought of the Gallbladder as the garbage dump of the body!!! ;-) It's ugly, it does the gross work, but it is Vital for a body to work optimally, and without it you can have a hard time adjusting to no one "picking up the garbage anymore" ;-) So you bascially have to thing of other ways of "Recycling" and take as much pressure as possible off of the Liver, that is left to pick up the slack. So try to eradicate fatty foods and processed foods from your diet, and this should help you. Good luck hon!
