I'm 20 years old. I had the flu about two weeks ago. Really bad stomach aches, nauseousness and a fever. Lasted for a few days. But the stomach deal didn't totally go away. But i think maybe it just turned into cramps...

This week is the week I'm supposed to get my period. I've never really had cramps before my periods ever so i'm not familiar with how they feel. But suddenly I'm getting horrible pains in my lower abdomen. A little nauseous. My sister gets really bad cramps and i know she throws up from them and everything. So I guess my question is why would I all of a sudden get horrible cramps before my period after never really having them before?

I'm still in the first days, so I'm not worried that I'm late or anything.

 

Any type of advice would help! Confused!
