i used to take my birth control (Femcon FE) earlier in the day but i forgot a few days ago and started taking it later in the afternoon since then. i also have not been taking it at the EXACT time every day but up until the time I forgot to take it in the morning I'd never been more than an hour or so late, and certainly I'd never been over 12 hours late (the latest I ever came was that day I started taking the pill later and that was not more than eight hours late).

Last night the guy I've been seeing and I started dry humping, but I was wearing a thong and he wasn't wearing anything so it was really anything but "dry". There was absolutely no penetration and we didn't do it long enough that he came. That said, there probably was precum but I couldn't tell how much. I'm not worried about STDs because we both have limited experience, to say the least, but it occurred to me that I might be at a slightly higher risk for pregnancy since I'd forgotten to take my pill at the exact same time as usual this week.

On the Femcon FE website it says that if I miss one of the active pills I should "Take it as soon as you remember and then take the next pill at the regular time. This means you might take 2 pills within 24 hours. You will not need to use a backup method of birth control if you have sex. " Also, Femacon is a combined pill and in researching this on other websites I've been told that if I wasn't more than twelve hours late then I should be fine. However, like I said, I'm not particularly experienced in this field and am a little worried. Would it be overkill for me to go pick up Plan B?
