Well I can sort of relate to not having testicles.  I have Kallmann's Syndrome a rare genetic hormonal disorder.  When I was born my testicles didn't descend.  I wasn't diagnosed with actually having Kallmanns until years later.  For some reason medical authority suggested at the time to wait and see if they decended on their own by puberty.  They never did and I never went into puberty because of Kallmann Syndrome.  When I was 15 I had surgery to bring my testicles down but because of my disorder and because they werent descended for 15 years they just don't work.  So there's there but they're small and barely are visible.  It's like I have no balls.  I also have a micropenis.  I'm infertile.  I'm on androgel which helps with the other ascepts but it's hard at times.  I would love to talk to anyone about this or about  whatever similar disorder they may have or someone in your family has.  I really don't talk to anyone in person about this and growing up I felt like a freak :(  I'm in my 30's now.   ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** private e-mails not allowed*** Please read our Terms of Use

Look into the word KLINEFELTER, this is a genetic problem that causes the testicles to be extremely small. I had problems in grade school and in later life I also found out I could not father children. I was advised by my endrocrinologist to take testosterone shots for the rest of my life, because my body does not produce the much needed nutrients found in sperm to help sustain our bodily functions, such as to help ward off arthritis. I was not diagnosed with Klinefelter until I was 39. I began receiving the shots and they made me feel like and look like a man, as I was not very hairy in the manly places, face, arm pits, groin area. Prior to the shots had no interest in girls, as I had no sex drive. Afterwards, I have since gotten married to a wonderful woman, and she understands why I cannot father children. We are now happily married of 23 years and counting.

I am 22 years old, There were complications at birth. My doc said that i had cancer, and she had to remove the testicles in order for it to not spread. (family told me this) the surgery to removed was days after i was born. Throughtout my childhood, i was instructed by my doctor to recieve the testosterone shots.  My father cared about more things than taking care of my shots, he was an alchoholic and a drug addict. I recently started my shots. I think i have had about 6 or so. The dr. that im at now is giving me 100mg every week to get it into my body and so my body gets use to it. Im having some extreme doubts about the process of whats all going to change.  For the first month I have seen improvements on energy and sex drive. But from my understanding since i never had the testosterone in my system until a month ago, i never went through puberty. Im guessing thats what my doctor wants to hurry up on since he is giving me a shot every week instead of every month. Idk if its cause im self conscience, but size is a little bit of an issue for me because i have extreme problems opening up to people,0 due to insecurities. I dont know if that will change over time, or if im stuck the way i am. I mean ive opened up the way i was before the testosterone shots, i was engaged for 2 years or so. and sadly it didnt work out, but that was my own fault there. Idk. I guess im just at a loss as to what all will be going on, and what will be changing. Anyone else understand what im talking about?
