For quite a whle now my right testicle has been slightly raised. It always aches slightly and there can be a slight pulling sensation. However i have also noticed that at the back of my testicle there is a predominnt lump. and the cord leading away from my testicle is slightly thicker then my left. if i apply any pressure it does feel quite tender and is slightly worring. i am 28 years old and in good health, minus this slight irritation i am experiencing. Any guidance would be grately appreciated.
Many thanks.

hey sa1

Im suffering from similar symptoms. There is a lump behind my right testicle in my tubing leading away, causes a dull ache and a pulling sensation which is mildly uncomftorble especially when trying to sleep. Also my hair folicals on my scrotem feel sore around the area. This could all just be caused by an ingrowing hair etc.

did a little research and the symptoms we both describe come under something called:

"hydrocele" or "varricocele: soft lump in the scrotum, most often on the rear side in the tubing, caused by sterile fluid. Easily treatable and no major cause for concern...but must be treated.

im 21 and im also in a good state of health (i hope) but this has me concerned

u not alone, hope this helps somehow

I am currently experiencing the same sensations. Tiny amounts of pain every now and again but the 'moving' feeling is driving me up the wall. I can't sit still and sleeping is even worse. I have a slightly thicker chord leading away from the right testicle which aches to touch.

Ibuprofen takes care of the small shooting pains but nothing seems to ease the moving sensation. I am going to try some ice.

yeah dudes,
ive got exactly the same symptoms, and appearantly it really is hydrocele. if the pain goes away after some time (week, few weeks), you should be fine, but if the discomfort stays, and the swelling increases, you'll need surgery.
just a half our treatment, were they remove the fluid in u drain pipe. no loss of testicles.. thank god

I am only 17, and I have been experiencing these same problems as you older guys. Its not so much as numb or tingling, it just always seems like my right testicle is giving me a pulling sensation for on real reason. I am not sure what to do and don't want to deal with this all my life.

Shakein my boots said;

How do you treat it??
thanks

I'm 19 and i had the hydrocele surgery a few month back (january). My right testicle felt huge and sometimes it would get uncomfortable but never had pain when my testicle was left minding its own business. The process of the surgery was pretty simple they cut through my ball sack which is the second way to do it, the first being the tubing, and removed the liquid. The recovery was very smooth and swift, if that is something that worries you i encourage you to do it, your testicle will feel normal again and if for some reason you have to go through the cut through method you need not to worry about any scars as it wont be noticeable unless you're looking for it.

My fiancé has been complaining that his left testicle feels numb, and we can't figure out why. Any help?
