My father has a pacemaker. He alos has COPD and severe asthma with 20% lung capacity. He recently was taken to the ER with pneumonia and a terrible time breathing. The ER doc told him that if would have been any later he wouldn't have made it. My question is..Will the pacemaker keep him alive longer and make him suffer?
