Hi
I'm a beginner at running
I can do average 400m/2min, sometime a little faster 400m/1:45.
I have a problem, it's at bottom & behind my right rib cage, around the lung area, a sharp pain will quickly develop if I run too fast.
I notice not only running, it's occours on most my other exercises as well like if I use too much power for too long.
I don't know whether this is a commom problem or what?
Are there any tips avaliable to solve this problem? or to improve?
Andy

The best thing I've found to combat side stitch is core strength work. Since I've made core a regular part of my rountine, I've not gotten any (fingers crossed knock on wood).
