A brief history...Sept 2005 I had ACDF, C-5 & C-6 (neck surgery). The surgery left me in misery. The majority of my weakness and pain has always been on my right side then about 2 months ago I developed a painfull, swollen elbow on my left side. It is sore to the touch, to bend and to grasp things with my hand.
Could this be related to the ACDF surgery?
I went to my GP and he said it was either tennis elbow (though I can't do enough to cause that) or a pinched nerve. My guess would be a pinched nerve.
Anyone had similiar issues with their elbow? Or similiar symptoms after neck surgery? Have any ideas on how to treat it on my own?
I don't want to go to another neuro or ortho doctor because it seems they only want to cut! After what I've been through with my neck I don't even want to think about another surgery.
