When I go to bed; I usually end up getting pain in my stomach and lower back. It usually happens after 30 minutes to an hour and I just can not sleep on my back or side anymore and need to sit up with a pillow in my back to get some sleep.

The pain usually starts on the sides of my stomach and later on my lower back + just underneath my ribs.

This is only when I sleep and when I get back out of bed everything seems to be fine.

I thought it had to do with my weight first, I weigh about 230 pounds, though I am 6'3ft tall and my build always has been big. I tried cutting weight, thought that did not work and the pain is still there. I tried changing my meals and eating patterns but no changes either.

Is there anyone that has the same and knows what it could be? I'm really getting to feel tired and weak over day just because I can't get my full hours of sleep.

Could you have injured yourself, i.e. muscle, disc without realizing it. Have you had any xrays done. I suggest that you be looked at if you haven't already. Those kinds of problems, untreated, can cause life-long problems. Please let me know what you have found out. What was your treatment. If the pain has gone away by itself, what do you think. I hope, however, that you have been to a medical professional.
