Hi evryone,

i just got my x-ray results then here's the result:

PA view of the chest reveals patchy densities in the right apex. Then I consulted a Physician about this and he adviced me to hava a PA chest x-ray and sputum examination. Then I got my new results to my x-ray and the results goes like this:

Apicolordotic view of the chest ancilalry to CXR PA taken outside dated 4-10-2014 shows fine reticulohazy densities seen at the right apex. The rest of the chest structures are distorted due to positioning. The superior mediastinum is not remarkable. The osseous thoracic cage reveals no significant bony abnormality.

Conclusion:Inflammatory process at the right apex. PTB is not totally ruled out. Please correlate clinically.

and here'smy result on sputum:

Sample: SMEAR

PROCEDURE: AFB Stain

FEW PUS CELLS

MODERATE EPITHELIAL CELLS

NO ACID FAST BACILLI SEEN

NATIONAL STANDARD SCALE:0.

I'm confused about PTB is not totally ruled out. Whta does it mean?

Thanks
