I'm a 22 year old sexually active girl. My period was due to start on the 25th March and it still hasn't. Over the past two weeks I've taken several pregnancy tests, all negative.
I was using the nuva ring as birth control up until 3 months ago, now my boyfriend and I use condoms.
Over the past few days I have felt like my period was starting and have even begun bleeding a few times, but never for longer than an hour, this is worrying me. I also see pink patches sometimes when I wipe.
I had an abortion a year ago and am worried that it may be something to do with that.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I would not be worried except for the irregular bleeding.
Also, I was planning to start on the pill when my next period started. I began bleeding for about an hour yesterday and so took my first pill. Now that the bleeding's stopped I don't know whether I should take another today.
Any advice anyone has would really help.
