Hey, I just had unprotected sex last fri, my period isn't usually due until the 15th or so I am never this early my period came today unexpectedly at work, I'm not cramping or anything what could this mean or why does this happen

hi so I had my period on the 27 and then had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on Friday sep 4 I took a morning after pill on the 5 but on sep 6 my boyfriend and I had sex again with a condom and he came inside the condom and he took the condom off and we had sex without it and he pulled out. but I am confussed and worried ... because on Friday sep 11 I started bleeding and cramping as well as feeling nauseous and light headed , the blood is dark brown and on the second day it had some white and clear discharge , I do not know if this is some side effect with the pill or if its a possible implantation bleeding. oh and my period normally is just for 3 days max ..very short but this bleeding is light but not to light and im already on the forth day and it hasn't stopped , so to re iterate I just had my period 2 weeks ago so is this another period from the pill or is it implantation bleeding?

Im 42, never been pregnant and for the first time ever I got my period 2 wks early. I've noticed a lot of changes with my body, including my menstrual cycle, as I'm getting older so I thought I would Google "two week early period" and do some reading. I must say, I'm quite appalled at some of the things I have read. The questions posted, albeit very repetitive, are all legitimate questions asked by girls/women who are scared and looking for some advice. Some of the questions posted were by very young girls (13) who were probably too afraid to ask their mother or other parental figure/family member in fear of getting in trouble or being looked at like a disappointment and instead of being helpful some of you were complete assholes. Not every young girl (and boy) has someone they can talk to about sex or someone willing to take the time and patience to explain the birds and the bees to them. Every child in this country isn't lucky enough to go to a school that teaches them a realistic health/sexual education curriculum (teach abstinence but also teach them about STD's, what birth control is and how to use it properly in case they DO decide to have sex before marriage they will know what to do). A lot of children in this country are too busy worrying about where they are going to sleep that night or where their next meal will come from because they don't have a house to go home to. There are a million other reasons why some of these younger girls don't know the answers to the questions they are asking but at least they are asking! The least we can do as older women is to try and teach the younger girls so they become educated. You don't have to agree with the decisions they have made. That's their cross to bare. No need to be judge mental and put someone down. You never know, one of these girls asking questions could be a relative of yours. Would you want someone to reply with helpful advice or some bitchy comment that is totally uncalled for?

that was so well said. I'm 16, and in the past 2 weeks my boyfriend (2 yrs on going,just to save the judgement) has cum in me twice. The first time was a total accident, someone walk in right as he was about to and yeah. And the second time the condom completely busted. So I've been reading about implantation bleeding etc. so I know my stuff about it. I just would like to know if any one on here was actually pregnant? And also how long should I wait till I do a test? I'm going to the doctors today to talk to them but in my experience doctors aren't always right so I like some other opinions.

Hi there. Id love some help as I dont have my mom around or any females to give advice. 3 weeks ago I had unprotected sex, I started my period a week later it started light and then got abit heavy and then ended with light brown discharge. Iv been throwing up alot and have completely lost my appetite. My normal period is due tomorrow. Could I do a pregnancy test now? Could I be pregnant?

It could mean a lot of different things. Stress, dramatic weight loss or gain, and pregnancy are just a few of the explanations for an early menstruation. If you are extremely concerned seek medical attention.
