I'm 13,and I started my period 5 months ago,(aguest)! But for some reason, I would have one and then miss one? So,in august I had one for 7 days, but didn't have one at all in september, and then in October I had one for 6 days, and then in November I missed it, and in December I've just started. What's happening, and is this normal?

This is normal because youre still growing and the hormones are adjusting...some people start their period at 16 years but im not a doctor you should talk to one to make sure through...

I am seeing irregular periods more and more. One of the main underlying reasons is malnutrition. If you are not getting enough quality protein and raw fresh fruits and vegetables the end result is painful irregular periods. Loading up crackers, pasta, soda, hot dogs are not nutrition. At your age, I would not take anything but herbal formulas. Do not consume anything with soy (soy milk, soy protein, soybean oil etc).  If it keeps on being irregular for the next 2-3 months you might want to see a GYN.
