Pheochromocytoma is tumor of the adrenalin gland. It is very dangerous tumor which can be deadly because of the severe elevation of blood pressure. The first treatment of choice is surgical resection. Sometimes it is needed to carry out the adrenalectomy, procedure which removes complete adrenal gland. It must be done in hospital because that is the only place with enough equipment.
