About a week ago I had severe sharp wrist pain a long the tendon, which i presumed was just an overuse injury as I do a lot of sport. A few days went on and the wrist pain became less severe but I started getting pins and needles down my thumb when performing certain actions. Now the inside of my thumb is completely numb and I'm still getting the pins and needles. When I press on the tendon at the bottom of my thumb I get shooting pins and needles down my thumb.

if anyone has any advice about what to do that would be great, or what this could be? I'm only 22 years old and already have a lot of problems with one ankle so I hope it's nothing serious!

thank you,

Amy Palmer
