hey every 1 when i go to use the toilet which is like 3 times every day these days, my poo looks very soft and has caramel looking jelly bits in it i have no idea what is going on some one please help me if they can, and its strange could i have a std or something or could it be something i ate please ive being crying for days i feel weird.

Well, I think that is time to stop wondering yourself what this stringy bowel movement is and instead of making sorry for yourself, go and see your doctor. Without some tests, you won't be able to figure out what is going on with you.

This is very normal iam not a doctor but i have the same problem. Your intestines produce the jelly like substances which helps a person have a bowel movement. If you go alot during the day its because your producing alot of this lube and makes you go, and the extra lube with come out as well. Yes it is caramel like color and stinks but its normal. The color is normally white but since it is touching your stools it will turn that color. This problem will come and go in life its common with people who have to go alot.

hi all, i get the same thing, i have been checked by the doctor and at the hospital, i also had blood and a fair bit of pain, no its not piles as you all may be thinking, it is IBS, irritable bowl sndrome, it can be bought on by food, stress or other underlined problems, the slimey stuff can either be you digestive system struggling or a cut / graze on the inside walls of your bowls or poop track, the worst thing you can do is worry about it as it will make it worse, alot worse infact as it is normaly stress related, try to move about more, 2 poops a day is fine, even one in some cases, too many poops is not a good sign either, if youve got this gungie stuff in your poop or blood or undigested foods other than the usuals like sweetcorn, if youget any of these symptoms atall, dont hang about as it could be one of many many different things, from as minor as a cut in your bum from wiping or fingering etc right up to colon and bowel cancer, so dont mess about writing it on stupid forums and trusting tom penis and harrys advice, its your life not theirs, it doesnt make a difference if they are wrong, so put the weight back on your shoulders and book an appointment, dont be shy doctors see arses and bollox evry day of the week, please do it as god only wants those whos time it is, dont make your own fate, stick with the one the good lord gave you, he created medicine and doctors for us all to keep us all well to do what we were pout here to do,, god loves you, peace to all men, and good health all, from jesus on earth !!
