Being a "newbie" to the wonderful world of birth control, your still going have "could i be pregnant thoughts" which is normal.
If you have taken your bc everyday at the same time everyday, i would tell you not to worry. You are now on your placibo's, the active pills should have already done their job for you this month. You have already gotten thru ovulation and are now being set up for your first period while on the pill. Once you take the last active pill, you should see your period within a few days.

Taking birth control pills really doesn't take affect until you have taken a full months worth, however, you were almost through the full month, and the little white pills are just sugar pills anyways... You should be fine, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Although I would hold off on that for at least a few more weeks.
