What's the best thing to use when you forget to take preventative measures for chafing?

I've used Neosporin in the past, but I'm curious to know if anything better exists.

Long enough to make an uncomfortable ride home. :|
Actually, it was the long trainer ride that did it to me.

I have a few little tubes I got at a race. It's made by Eucerin and can probably be found at the drug store with the lotions.

My mom used body glide for post surgery chafing--she said it worked like a champ to help regenerate skin a lot quicker.

She now swears by the stuff.

I just suffer through and wear snug clothing when I can so that the chafed part doesn't rub against anything in passing.

Aquaphor is great but get the "healing lotion" Comes in a tube or small tub an runs about $7.50 at Walgreens. It is in the hand lotion section. (BTW, it is also great for diaper rash, only thing to cure my sons DPR) I also use BLISTER SHIELEDI like it better then body glide because it is a roll on vs solid and just seems smoother. Haven't had any issue once I switched to BLISTER SHIELD Good luck with the chafing, been there done it, don't wanna again

A liberal application of ben gay should do the trick. In seconds you will forget all about the chaffing.

Aquaphor.
I second that. I was amazed at how quickly my rash scabbed over (hours) and the next day it flaked away.
