About a week and a half to two weeks ago my fingertips began to peel. At first I didn't pay it any mind but now every one of my fingertips is raw and this morning I woke up to find that what ever this is has now started on my thumbs. It began on my left pinky. It looked like a tiny blister but it was dry. I didn't think anything of it, that has happened to me before, I clean a lot. But the dot got really dry and maybe flaked of, I'm not too sure I was concerned about it then. the edge of the tiny piece that flaked off dried out and flake off and this is what keeps happening over and over until my entire first didget is raw. About a day after my pinky started my ring finger began the same pattern, then my middle followed by the index. Its been this way on both my hands. Only the first did get is effected. I've been reading other peoples posts on this site, suggesting that stress, alergic reactions to metals or other materials or fungi could be the culprits, however I don't have any allergies, skin or other wise, I'm not stressed and I'm constantly cleaning so in would think a fungal infection is unlikely. I've never had an issue with my skin before either. For the past 3 days I've been using a combination of eurcerin eczema lotion, vitamin E capsules, A&D ointment and a little bit of cortisone cream once a day along with wearing gloves while I do my house work, but it doesn't seem to be helping. Alsdo I don't think this is weather related, it now the beginning of spring and like I said before I've never had a skin problem. Does anyone out there have an idea of what this is and perhaps an inexpensive remedy? I unfortunately do not have the means to visit the dermatologist right now so any help would be much appreciated
