After having out patient d&c, ablation at a local surgery center, while in recovery room sipping ginger ale, suddenly I awakened to people shouting for bagles (learned later they were not ordering breakfast but shouting vagle) was flat on my back with a crowd surrounding me, oxgen being forced into my lungs. Nurse later explained that my blood pressure had dipped. While dressing to leave, experienced chest pain. Other nurse said she had applied chest compressions because my heart had stopped. Showed me ecg (?)tape with flat line. No one discussed why this happened. Surgeon had no idea anything had happened. Should I see cardiologist?
